UPSTAIRS.

So… the first sneak peek at upstairs!

This is our master bedroom, we have been having sockets installed as there were none anywhere you would need them, like around the bed!

Today the plastering has been finished up here which is exciting. The ceiling had that horror of all horrors ARTEX which we knew had to go, I still cant get my head around why this was ever a trend?!

I love that this room has windows on both sides, it makes it feel super airy.

This room gets gorgeous sunshine in the mornings, I am already dreaming of morning coffee in bed up here.

The french doors lead to a little balcony which will be lovely to have open in Summertime.

This room has an ensuite attached to it so no need to traipse downstairs in the middle of the night!

This was the ensuite as it was…the only thing I liked about it was its sweet little porthole, so this is the ensuite currently…

I want to keep this bathroom really neutral as the bedroom is going to be all white with some wooden accents.

We have chosen the most beautiful terracotta floor tiles and cement white tiles for the shower.

This room will also feature my beloved RENA sink from KAST Concrete Basins (@kastconcretebasins)

Isn’t she just so beautiful?! We have a gorgeous matte black tap to go with her, which begs the question of whether i should leave the porthole black, or paint it white like I did with the stairwell porthole…

Rena is going to sit atop a wooden natural edge shelf which we had made when we visited the timber yard out of this beautiful piece of oak.

That’s all our progress for now; I will update when the bathroom is less of a building site and we can start getting the fun stuff in!
